Q1. What is a modular socket?

When connecting devices to a socket thousands of times, the connection will begin to wear out. For other duplicators, this would require purchasing a new duplicator. With the Digifast modular socket, the user need only replace the socket saving time and money.

Q2. Can I use both source ports or both target ports at the same time?

Only one port (M.2 or SATA) can be active on each side of the machine at a given time. This device will only copy from one of the source ports to one of the targets ports. For erasing, there is a setting to allow erasing for both source and target ports. This feature will only work for one M.2 or SATA on a side at a given time. In other words, for copy it will always be one to one. For erase, you can do a maximum of two.

Q3. Do the erase functions comply with NIST or DoD standards?

Yes, the full and secure erase options are compliant with NIST 800-88. DoD erase functions are compliant with DoD 5220.22M standards.

Q4. What is the feature of the M.2 duplicator?

Stand-alone design FPGA operation. (Non-PC based design)
Dedicated bandwidth enables high volume duplication without speed compromise.
Light-weight form factor that packs a powerful punch, which provide peak transfer speed of up to 10 or 24 GB/min.
